Carl attended Hesston College, Goshen College and Associate Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, He served at Martins Creek Mennonite as lead pastor for 21 years. In his time there, he has honed his skills as a preacher and administrator, and demonstrated passion and skill in seeking out and developing the abilities of young leaders in the church. He has been lead pastor at Kidron Mennonite since 2012. His wife Mary works as a nurse at Wooster Community Hospital in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Craig Strasbaugh is a graduate of Dalton High School and Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and recently completed his Masters of Divinity at Ashland Theological Seminary.
Craig has been heavily involved at Camp Luz for a decade, including Voluntary Service terms, and he met his wife Jenny there while on summer staff. The Jenny-Craig duo have two children and live in Orrville.
Over the past number of years, Craig has felt called to “see his community as a mission field.” Through his previous youth pastor experience he has come to understand “God’s unique wiring/gifting me for ministry.” In addition to serving as a part-time youth pastor for 4 years, Craig has been a substitute teacher at various local schools.
Craig joined the staff of KMC on October 15, 2012.
Gene has served as Minister of Music at Kidron Mennonite several times, most recently starting in 2011. He is a former high school music teacher. He and his wife Lynda have four grown children and 7 1/2 grandchildren. He brings enthusiasm and a sense of play to all that he does.
Kristine (Hostetler) Nussbaum is the wife of Jason and mother of Elizabeth and Rory. Kris graduated from Garaway High School and graduated Bluffton College. She went on to teach freshman composition and earn a M.A. in English Language and Literature from The University of Toledo before taking a teaching position at Central Christian School. Following her 8 years at Central Christian, Kris started her own home business as a writing, research and design consultant. In May 2011, Kris joined KMC's staff as the minister of Christian Education. In her spare time, Kris likes to read, do art and craft activities with her kids, watch her nephew's and kids' soccer games and garden.
Lois Nussbaum has served as Kidron Mennonite's secretary/bookkeeper for more than a decade. She also attended KMC as she was growing up.
She and her husband Bob have two children: Jordan and Kelsey (Stephen) Maples.
Glenn Miller has attended KMC for 25 years; he became a member several years ago. He graduated from Waynedale High School and started working for Fleming Foods where he was employed for 27 years and another 4 years at Roadway. Glenn became our church custodian in September of 2009. He and his wife Barb (Hofstetter) have two children, Katie and Amy, both recent college graduates. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys following the progress of the Browns, Indians and the Ohio State University football team and working outside, cutting firewood and mowing the lawn.
